All you need is:
2 cups of plain almonds – you can even use slightly salted one if you like the mix of salt and sweet
1/2 cup of water
1 cup of white sugar
2 tbsp cinnamon.
Place the water, sugar and cinnamon in a pan and bring to the boil. Then add the almonds and stir in, turn down slightly and cook until the liquid turns to syrup and then crystallizes. Stir the almonds to make sure they down all stick together when crystallizing. Pour out onto grease proof paper and use a knife to separate them if they are stuck together. Enjoy!
